Help!

I need your help!! Today, i started the game. and it updated, then i cliked on the Start Game, then it shows up HShield, then i waited for 3 seconds, and the black screen came up, then it closes fast. Can anybody help me? I played this game yesterday, and the day b4 yesterday, can anybody fix this?

Hmmm, just go down the check list and make sure you have everything running properly to enable a functioning game.

Firewall
updated video drivers
Security settings in general
compatable system

One last thing you can check on is the placement of the game and files itself.

By default, CA downloads and makes it's own folder in the C drive (not in program files) you can double check to make sure the path is in C:\Program Files\combatarms

that's the only other thing i can think of that's making it not run.

Simple.
Re-download it to C:\Program Files\Combat Arms or just plain C:\Combat Arms
Trust me...

Right click the Combat Arms icon > Properties > Go the the "Compatibility" tab > Under "Compatibility Mode" select the box which should say "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Select Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

If that doesn't work, instead of selecting Windows XP (Service Pack 2), select Windows 2000.

Also, moving the file to C:\Program Files\Combat Arms or C:\Combat Arms
(You do not have to redownload the game, you are able to move the file)
Though nothing a re-download can't fix.
