Arrow Keys or WASD?

Hey,
I'm sitting here at work bored and started wondering what method you guys use for walking, strafing, jumping squating, ect.

I've always heard that the 1337 users play with wasd.

I play with the arrow keys and use my pinky finger for jump (shift) and squat (crtl). I have reload, walk, and use mapped to my mouse.

so what do you guys use?

I would like to know if anyone uses anything besides the mouse button for firing. I had a guy tell me that he pulled the fire button over to the space bar and moved jump to a different key because pushing the mouse button will often times move the mouse enough to screw up your aim...

Anyway, I use wasd, but then again, I am a nub

i use sdfe and a to duck...kinda wierd :lol: I can't believe some of u guys use to arrow keys :roll:

Arrow keys make so much sense. If you want to go left...you push the arrow that points to the left....who hits "S" when they wantto go left!?!??!?! :roll:

when I started playing again after a year off...I switched to the wasd cause the arrow keys suck

its just funny because before i knew anything about computers
i thought the ONLY way to make urself go in any direction in a
video game was the arrows + u have so many more things you
can do and so many more keys "at your fingertips" if you use the
WASD config. (i have a place in my keyboard tray worn out where
i used to use arrows, shhhhh)

as he said wasd is better cuase of all the keys at your fingers instead of havgin to reach way over (with your pinky) to hit other buttons

im supriesed you can even play using arrows..i truely am

I have to recast my vote:

I dont use the arow keys OR the WASD, I have WASD programed into my N52 gamepad, I have not used the keyboard in almost a year for movement.

Swords fun tip of the day, if your bored and wanna try soemthing fun, map your firing buttons to MOUSWHLU/MOUSWHLDWN and then whip out some dualies, the result is much something to look forward to...

I use xc for forward and back zv for strafe.

I'm told it's a very strange setup but wasd makes my fingers cramp up.
Been using this setup since my firearms and dfd days.
