After living in my house for about a year, today I finally had cable installed. w00t w00t as they say. Now I can pwn (read suck) from the comfort of my own home. Not that any of you care, but I'm so excited that I finally got broadband. I'm just scared that this will lead to a divorce :wink:

Having broadband is different from having a modem connection... please do all you can to keep yourself from getting viruses and spyware! It is a must to use a firewall, and not the one that comes with Windows....

Don't get me wrong, I've had broadband before. Ever since I bought my houses, got married, and had a baby broadband and cable TV just didn't fit in the budget. I try to spend wisely, ie no credit card balances, low interest mortgage, auto loan, student loans. As far as a firewall is concerned, I'm running a POS Linksys until I build a front end machine.
