I have encountered, and used both:

using nerve: They work best in junk flea, throwing them into the enemy base, but still, they don't give all that many kills.

encountering nerve: if it lands in front of you -sprint around a corner or behind cover -or out of range. If you are right in the middle of them -you are pretty much screwed -just sprint out.

using fire: same as nerve, but you have to use them in even more confined areas.

encountering fire: same thing as nerve, but if you are in the middle, you aren't really screwed, but still sprint away.

For junk flea I woul recommend using fire grenades and mines they are awesome there especially when you play CTF.

yah, i hate it when the other team mines their flag like fking crazy, but, it is smart

Yea it smart but easy to avoid. You just jump right over them lol

Easier way is to shoot the mines before you are at flag, then run to flag and take it.
Its good diversion too

yeah I try that,but I still get killed from the explosion thats why I keep my distance and send out a sucide mission to go get the mines.
