voip in CZ not working

Yeah I just got a new pair of plantronic headset and still don't work in CZ, I go to audio option and voice enable voice and testing there's nothing.

It's really weird because this headset works really well in almost every other game I have or internet telephone etc.

My old Logitech headset works in everything but CZ too so same problem


Don't kno if anyone knows how to fix it.

nah I think might have to do with my audio device it's called sigma audio, or codec I really dont know. I guess I'll have to cough up another $70 to get a sound card *sigh*

Well, wait. There's a lot of computer gurus around here. If all else fails you can visit AiW. I know that the Rancid there is very good with computers.

when you hit the test microphone, there is NO meter or is it all static, or is it quiet? If you have no problems in skype then it is definitely counterstrike/windows related.

yeah there's no meter, but I'll look into the site MAx gave.
