Using the arrow keys

If any of you are like me a prefer to use the arrow keys for you movement, then this will help and boy had a heck of a time finding these binds.
Just open your profiles page and change this
Forward = "##76@ @ "
Backward = "##80@ @ "
StrafeLeft = "##79@ @ "

make sure you type it all exactly and save it before you close the edit

what u forget to mention is you have to open the file with notepad and it resets everytime you close the game.

Combat Arms Controls Fix

Since i started playing Combat Arms i to came accross the problem of wanting to use arrow keys to move but when game closes it resets controls left and right.

So i decided to make this program in visual basic 6

1.Setup

2. Setup & Launcher Complete, Make a Shortcut of Launcher File

Basicly, you open the setup file, browse your combat arms folder and then in your profiles folder choose the player.txt file, press done, it will download the Launcher from my web server "http://www.vbdreamers.co.uk" then allow you to make a shortcut of the Launcher for easy access on Desktop or something.

So now every time you want to play Combat Arms without having to edit the player.txt file every time you just run my Launcher and it will automaticly replace the player.txt file with your already edited player.txt file saving you the hassle, this process takes meer seconds so you wont even notice it giving you a happy time playing every time!

Before running the Setup make sure the player.txt file has already been edited to match your needs so that when my program backs it up it will be the correct file, inless you already have the file backed up and browse for it in a different location.

and why would you use the arrowkeys? Are we talking numpad or actual arrowkeys?

Kinda crippling as you lose a majority of your buttons...

you would want to use the arrow keys if you were left handed Miran.... either that or haven't gotten use to the standard WASD setup

tech, I strongly suggest getting used to the WASD setup. It took me a while to get used to them too, but then again, that was back when WASD setup was brand new and "genius"

lol.. yeah i had no choice but to play WASD setup last night, but i utilize my right shift, right ctrl, numpad 1, 0, 4 and space bar with sick control .. just what im used to always used this setup for fps' .. cant teach an old dog new tricks no what i mean

just each time u load the game, go to settings and click ok you may need to click enable blood effect again
