Should I Share a connection with someone elses?

My internet connection doesn't work and i was wondering if i should share a connection with some random people?
My guess would be no but i would like to hear your thoughts..

No cause they have to take there router of stealth mode then random people could connect to router and then they could get framed for i dunno pornography

i would because if it doesnt work then u might aswell i used to do it until i got my own and my friend does it and its fine!

if they allow you then its fine. but taking someone elses connection is illigal, nothing really stopping you though.

Yeah using someone elses connection could put you in a lot of trouble if caught unless they know about it then its ok.

it is illegal to use someones wireless without their permission under the telecommunications act, but if you know who they are and ask them and gain their permission it's ok. Ask your neighbors if you can borrow theirs... it's worth a try

some people promote unsecured wireless connections in certain streets and areas, but big companies are trying to put a stop to this.

well, in the real world, the 'smart' people put a password on their connection.

if someone is too stupid to do that, then they should ask someone how. If they don't that means they think anyone can use their connection, since they didnt put a password. lol.

if there's no password, just use it.

most routers come with a setup disk which takes them thruogh WEP keys... but it's not the safest of security...
and your morality of just use someone elses wireless could get you ending up in court if you got caught...
think carefully about what you do

Here in Sweden it is called network fishing. And is illegal if you hack some ones protection but if they don't have any you are free to use other peoples wireless connection.

hmmmmmm sweden is quite a relaxed place then... whereas in the UK it's illegal to use someone wireless without their permission if it is secured or not
