How do you get to the 'red' mode?
Must I switch of connect24?

if you just hold down the button for a little bit it switches from green to orange, but if you hold it down longer, it switches from orange to red. I once made the mistake of leaving a wii on "orange" mode overnight, and in the morning, it was really hot, but it didn't damage the wii at all.

guys i wouldnt worry about leavin it on standby....i dont anymore but i used to and nothing ever happened just hold down the button for around 10 secs

8even if you did get something, i always turn mine off because the wiiconnect24 actually melts the cpu inside the console if the fan isnt on
