8/21 Maintenance & Small Patch

You'll notice that the 8/21 Server Maintenance actually includes a small patch with a few new changes.

* New Server/Channel Selection Screen:
We've now organized our server selection to make it a bit easier to navigate. First you'll select a Server Type, then a specific Server, and finally a Channel on that server. This will become more helpful as we prepare to add more servers and server types in the future. You can still see all servers at once by selecting the "All Servers List".

* Improved Protection against Hacks and Glitch Fixes:
Among other things we've done to make life more difficult for those who feel the need to break the rules, users will no longer be able to glitch unreleased weapons, or items beyond what their rank allows. We hope you enjoy a noticeable improvement in play experience.

server screen still needs a lil work though, for instance when you are in a channel and press change server, instead of taking you back to the channel list it goes back to server list.

draw back to this, if the server is full you lose your spot and can't view any other channels on that server until another spot opens.

I have also had this problem. This game is fantastic but it still needs a lot of work involved.

They are still in open beta. In closed beta it was really bad though, so be thankful we have this...

Combat Arms is NOT in open beta, if it were still in BETA only a select few from the community would be alloud to download and play it on beta servers... the game is available to the general public which means it has been released from beta.

no n00b, closed beta is just that a very select few from the community can get it, open beta means it is only open to ppl the closed beta memebers ask to join in on the testing as recommendations to the GM team. I was in open beta for another game (America's Army) and by no means does the word "open" mean the general public. only a select few can join open beta not all

lol.... Zero is right. The game is no longer in Beta but has actually been "released". There are no more "BETA" servers, only the main game servers, match & trainee/recruit server.
