Can't shoot or get out of sprinting while in game!!

this sucks, cause I can't shoot, or stop sprinting while playing. I fixed the controls, but it still wont stop acting stupid. The only thing I can think of that may have started it is that yesterday when I was playing, I was running, and I was repetitively pressing shift, then I kinda got stuck in sprint, but then I did the same thing and got out of it.

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

hmm, i honestly don't know what is wrong.
the only thing i can think of is the keys of your keyboard are sticky but that sounds like a long shot.
Do you have any other PC FPS's check to see is you still have the same problem ?
That would at least narrow down the possibilities.
Another long shot, try remapping the keys to totally different keys, say instead of shift remap it to you mouse's center button. Check to see if you have the same problem then remap back.

Those are both long shots but hope it helps!
