Even though I still use them, I think it's stupid how many guns are a few years to a few decades after the time Black Ops is supposed to take. Some of them aren't even in the Cold War (in real life). For example-the FAMAS, especially the version they have of it, and the Steyr AUG weren't thought up until around the '80s or so, but weren't even really "used" until even later.
I thought about it, and there's plenty of weapons that were of the time period:
M14, M16A1, M1911, LAW, RPK, AK47, Makarov, frag grenades, M60, RPG, and some others all were in that time period, but NO...they had to try to impress the naive, and added in the FAMAS-FELIN which was a PROTOTYPE in 2001! And the AK74, which obviously was first produced in 1974, a while after the game takes place. That's just naming a couple.
Anyone else annoyed by this? I sincerely think so.
