Wiiconnect24?

Hey while i surf the net i see people saying that wiiconnect has melted thier wii chips and it scratches thier cds and stuff and i was wondering if i should turn off wiiconnect from tuesday until friday or saturday so my wii doesn't get hot. Also i would still get updates right because it's on from sunday and monday.

So do you think i should do it or not.

yea but i'm asking if i should only turn it on when it's update day.

nindento usaualy updates on a monday for new vc titles but i dont know about firmware updates or anything else
