Western State Hospital

wish me luck getting this job at Western State Hospital. If i get the job i'll be a Psychiatric aide. And if ya'll are wondering what kind of hospital it's a mental hospital if you havn't figured it out. I'll be starting out at $19,000 salarya year which isn't so bad for me just getting out of high school.They also have some sweet ass benefits. 8 hours a day...so not bad at all.I'll get to interact with the patients and help them with their daily activities. If i dont get this job then I will be applying at the Southern Psychological Diagnostic & Clinical Svcs for juveniles. I'm really hoping i get the Western State job. Wish me luck.

a friend of mine i used to work with worked at one of those places before...
said one day he was at his desk dozin off (while keepin an eye on a patient waiting for another nurse to come get him) and he heard this woosh splat sound..he sat up lookd around and the crazy patient was just sittin there...so the next time he closed eyes he pretended to go to sleep...then he opened his eyes real quick and caught the patient squatting takin a shit in his hand...so you can kinda guess what that whoosh splat sound was hahaha... gl with that ema lol

well from what i hear the patients are just like regular people. The only time they act out is when they aren't on their meds. Patrick used to work there last year and he did tech work. Oh and did i mention that his dad is a shrink there?

gl. I admire ppl who can work at a place like that. i couldnt. i'd prolly be a good patient tho.

working there i just couldnt disconnect from all that when i have to go home.
