OK....I like playing with everyone on Punx, but....CAN WE PLEASE TRY SOME FUCKING NEW MAPS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

If you play for over an hour, odds are you could very well play the same map twice!
ALL WE PLAY IS :

Dust 2
Office
Piranesi
Dust
Vostok
and Corruption!

I suggested assault for like 3 hours today and everyone's like "IT'S TOO HARD FOR THE CT's!!!! IT'S SUCH A 1 SIDED MAP! THAT MAP'S NOT AS FUN AS DUST 2!
JESUS PEOPLE!!!! IF THE CT TEAM IS TOO HARD...JOIN TERRORIST AND STOP BITCHING, AND LET THE PEOPLE THAT ENJOY A ChALLENGE PLAY THE CT SIDE!!!!!
Please...can we play some of the maps on the server??? SOMETIMES!?!?!?!?

piranesi is now getting hated on too? dang, i was a big advocate of making
peeps vote for it and it was like pulling teef, now its like hey, thats a leet
map, but no, now we haterade it.


fact is, most maps dont get voted bc statwhores dont like learning new
ones because ......they get pwnt up for while. so, in conclusion, quit
being a bunch of statwhore pussies and lets do dis. yea right, like that
will ever happen, the hardcore peeps would be 5 on 5 all day, which really
wouldnt be all that bad.....

but like torn, at 12 v 12, man that map is the SHIZZLE. peeps are scared tho
so they leave and its too big for 6 on 6....

I care to believe that the maps get changed 5 times more by the server than by an admin. Therefore, our map selection at punx gets rotated randomly. I think you guys exaggerate a bit. The problem is that when a map comes up for play and an admin sees that it doesn't have enough spawn points then he changes it. What does he do? The admin usually asks everyone what they would like to play instead. What do you think they ALWAYS say to me when I ask? That's right, one of the maps you listed in the top of this thread. The admin is more concerned about people that are waiting to get on the server than he is for what map is played. I don't think I will change my behavior that much. We try to change it up once and a while but everyone bitches.

It used to be that we played different maps once in a while but that dosent seem to happen anymore. When CZ came out they added a lot of Great maps.

these maps are lots of fun, new situations, new thinking, give it a try

These maps all fucking rock, and most of them (besides stadium are very balanced). Some maps that we play are redicuolously unbalnced;
AZTEC_cz - only reason its possible is because people KNOW they have to rush to win, 3 choke points, no passgae

I can't really complain about any other map
Balanced maps we play include....
Inferno, corruption, dust2, piranesi, office (lil bit T sided but still nice)

I really love playing those uncommon maps, so give em a shot, you'll find that trying something new is a welcome change. So when these maps come up on the map selection menu do me a favor and vote for em

werd, i agree. i may have missed something in the first post but
admins do a great job with changing out of stupid 10 spawn point
maps. i dont know why someone would create a map with limited
spawns....but anyway they are out there.

my point/issue is with the people who vote. those are the ones
that make us go to the same old same old. it aint changing any
time soon. only thing i can think of is changing map rotation

AMEN!!!!! Is there any way to change it to 6 or 8? I think you have stumbled on to a genius idea. I would definetly like to see Piranesi, Prodigy, Silo and those maps more often. Also, I took this time to download coldshell_cz (not that it was insanely huge amount of time)cause I remember reading we were gonna play this map like once a night or more often or something, but ever since I did, I have not seen it happen at all. I have never played this map, but hear it is a fun map to play.

omni need to delet the non cz maps.
if somebody want dust2 he type dust2_Cz,but if it says "u cant play it for 4 map" he just need to type de_dust2 and evrybody vote for it,"who cares the admin will change it to _cz."
this how we play dust2 office aztec to many time a night.

bah...also assault sucks ass man....very T sided and frustrating..I don't even think it has more than 20 spawn points...there are some Assualt alternative which are better like assault2k

New maps would be cool but whenever we add them they get underplayed anyways..
