Sonic 2 or Sonic 3?

Which one is better? Which one gives you more for your points, iyo?

I say Sonic 2 is superior to Sonic 3 but it is indeed a tough call.

Sonic 3. The Co-op is better, due to tail's help. Graphics are improved. Knuckles is EPIC. The Blue Sphere game. Sonic 2 had a better Multiplayer option, but 3 is overall better.

But I liked Sonic 2's multiplayer a lot more but I find Sonic 2 more appealing to me for some reason. I must admit, Sonic 3's levels have more depth and that's the most notable thing it has over Sonic 2.
