from my experiences, I have learned that you should change your cl_cmdrate to whatever the sv_cmdrate. If the server is at 30, or 50, or 100, then that is your max. That is just what I have learned.

And you are correct sir. Punx is set to 30.

I stand corrected. Had it backwards in my head. The setting on Punx is called sv_maxupdaterate and it is 30

How do you reset all that crap back to normal? I started tooling around with it today and my ping shot threw the roof and I get choke/loss no matter what I do. I was fine with the normal defaults. How do you reset all that crap back to it's original state?

before makeing and changes to important files like this and in windows you should back them up.

Just rename the config.cfg file and it will go back to system defaults and you will have to set it all up again, to how you want it.
