psp is cool but i dont like how they have firmware i like to hack but the whole upgrading thing is just stupid

Upgrades are what make the PSP better. Without updates there would be no Web Browser, PS3 connectivity, or other good features the PSP has. Sony implemented those features into updates, not Dark_Alex. DA only modifies the firmware to allow unsigned eboots to boot.

there has only been 2 features worth upgrading for, web browser and ps1 emulator.

the team m33 firmware is great though as you can run homebrew, emulators ad most ps1 games.

yes that is very true. athough there has been a couple of homebrew internet browser and an attempt at ps1 emulation.

Attempt at ps1 emulation? It's a way of life... that's what I do on the bus... I play Legend of Legaia and beat the crap out of Ultimecia in Final Fantasy VIII on the way to school....

He means there was a homebrew release of a PS1 emulator. It played at about 5% fullspeed, so it is basically an attempt.

Oh... okay... sorry for the mixup... but I think it's KIND OF a waste of time... as Sony has provided the fullspeed emulator.... and all the CD Changing feature....

IMHO the thing they should do is improve upon it.... maybe the only thing left is savestate? I don't even really need that either....
