OK my God father gave me his Apple laptop because he doesn't have the password to login to the computer that he brought from his friend.
he brought the laptop, and his friend forgot to give him the password to it.
He can't get in contact with his friend. So He brought a Mac OS X install disc
What do I press while the computer is starting up to reset the computer?

Hmm. My cousin just bought a mac and they had a similar problem. They called apple but since its used and you can contact the owner, I would suggest google too.

Yep I actually Searched google before asking you guys ,but nothing helped.

It ended up having a fireware password on it(A so called unavoidable password)
I took out the ram held on to Command+Option+P+R x3
Then I looked up some code thing and bypassed the fireware un reset the computer without the installation disk.

Hmm. And it wouldnt have let you restore it back to factroy settings? Well i guess if the password was the first thing to come up it then wouldnt but I heard some macs do have a factory restore manual button inside but that was only on a few macs that arent exactly new.
