Yeah I think they might do that, either way you'll most likely keep your VC games.

you should send it in straight away if its free i would but make sure you have a ps2 or something to play when its being repaired i sent my xbox in before and got bored till it came back

I have a problem were I don't have a cursor anywere but the main menu so I erased my memory like the guy on the phone said. Now, I still don't have a cursor and I have to PAY to get the internet channel. In other words, I don't think I am going to get it....
