combat arms not working?!?!?!?!

i hav had this problem for a while and basically when i download it, and its all installed i double click it and a small screen comes up saying "version chacking" the all of the sudden it disapears.......lol after that nothing........i tried download A and B and its all the same problem......

can i get some help please....

(btw does having service pack 3 a problem?)
