I wouldn't bother.
I am pretty sure the wiikit is a different branded version of the Wiinja chip.
And from what I know about the Wiinja chip,
it doesn't work in every console.
The thing is, wii's have been released with two different chipsets.
The creators of the modchip didn't realise this until just recently.
So the modchip will only work with one of those chipsets, not both.
And there is no way to tell which chipset your wii has until you pull it apart and take a peek at the number printed on the chip.
Personally I wouldn't be pulling my wii into a hundred pieces just to discover that it's not compatible with the modchip.
