yeah aside from dell boy here with his M140 we all usually run something other than integrated graphics. I can play CZ just fine on a 5 year old p3 with a geforce videocard, which is simillarly capable to intel extreme graphics.

IF you feel like playing new games, post at least your computer model here so we can figure out if it has a slot to expand, and find you a best value for what you can spend.

PC gaming takes knowledge, but you will gain experience in hardware the more involved you become.

are you familier with your video drivers software? it will be in the settings somewhere depending on the drivers you use. jsut do some playing around.

start by going to the start menu-->control panel-->display --> settings tab --> click advance.

jsut check out the tabs and browse around until you see vertical sync then turn it off

but to be honest agent with yoru current setup yoru not going to get the FPS you want. you need to overhaul yoru system or spend a few dollars of you want to really improve yoru FPS.

tweaking is meant to give you massive boosts, it is mearly meant to help you pull a few extra frames out of yoru rig.

gl with everything though

vertical sync is not limited to 30fps. it is designed to keep you fps and monitor refresh rate at the same pace so to speak. to reduce image tearing. ATI has recently fixed the vertical sync problem that limited it to 60 fps. but to get it higher you need a monitor that can handle higher high refresh rates at the resolution that you want and a video card that can handle it. also ATI released triple buffering which should according to them help increase frame rates when vertical sync is enabled. I have tried this and gotten 100 fps with vertical sync and tripple buffering enabled, but even my 9800 pro 256 cant really handle it at all times. for most people that have mid to low end cards jsut leave it off as your card may support triple buffering but it probably cant really handle it in intense gun fights etc. So pretty much unless you are looking to get a little bit crisper graphics and or have a high end card, or serious problems with image tearing and cant fix it any other way then leave it disabled.

also this may help a bit. whatever your ingame resolution is you should set your desktop at that resolution before starting the game. This may be a pain for some of you that play at low res but it might let you squeeze a few fps out.
