George Hotz has done it again, this time for the Playstation 3:

He currently hasn't revealed any details, but his report is trustworthy as he was part of the first Iphone SIM unlock hack.

You can do truely anything with it hacked but online is going to be limited greatly because of sony's servers. Every game has their own server, not just one big server like 360, so it would make online much harder, but the trophy server is un-hackable with todays technology, unless you were to go to the physical server from what I understand.
