I have a Dell 1704FP - 17 inch flat panel. I started noticing some flickering lately, especially in fonts and textured backgrounds. I decided to up my screen refresh rate to see if it'd help and it did immensely. I upped it from 60Hz to 75Hz. Thing is, I didn't think about the effect in CS. It seems that I've dropped an average of 10-15 fps in the change.
Is this just a natural result or do I just need to re-tweak to the new refresh rate to pull those extra 10-15 frames? And while I'm here, does anyone have the default net_graphwidth number they can share with me? I fucked with mine one day and now it's all scrunched together.
