Linux Question

i dont know if anyone here uses it
our servers here at work are linux
our database serber sits on one
anyway i need to move 2 large files from one to the other
cp obviously wont work for me
and ssh is not running on either box
neither is ftp
thot i would throw it up here and see if anyone
had any suggestions

is this a one time thing? could you set up two samba shares and negotiate the transfer via a pc? do they have any management software installed? webmin?

the boxes are running Red Hat 7.2 Fadora i believe.
this idealy would be a one time thing
i would hope not to have to do it again.
the kind of files are database dumps that we have to keep for federal reasons.
only managment tool that i know i currently have
of the box itself is telnet

one box is our live database serber
and the other is our backup
so i cant go off rebooting or bogging it down too terribly much.

i will try at a low traffic time the above...
talkd to network admin and he say he will setup
and intermediate box for me to dump em onto
and get off of
he just didnt want us to host off of the box's
