Jungle terrain shots

Here are some shots from my newest WC3 project, which I will release more information at a later date

These are shots of a jungle in eastern Kalimdor, pre-Sundering (around 10,050 years before WC1)

just a question wouldnt a jungle have more of tropical trees rather than forest trees? but neways nice terrain

I was going to use tropical trees, but I hate the look of them. It's more of a tropical pine forest, rather than true jungle. It's a playable map, too, so the trees aren't sized up (much, some might be) and I don't want to use custom trees for a playable map.

These trees look much better than ugly palms. Screenshots arent that great though, hard to see how good your terrain is.

They're River Rushes.

Yeah, River Rushes. Removed variation 4 and changed the tinting.

The shots are WIP mostly. The map isn't complete enough to take very many shots at the moment, unfortunately.

For screenshots try next time to not have half the shot covered in close-up ground.
Anyways, good terrain for WIP.

why not try the barrens tree, prolly lloks better than the sunken ruins tree and the pine tree, just a suggestion

These are the foothills above the true "jungle". Pine trees are dominant until you get deeper in.

The map is playable, and I want to maintain a Blizzard-esque feel. So no thanks.

Commenting on your tree choice, it doesn't seem to fit. Your terrain is swamp and your trees are from a healthy forest.

The terrain isn't really swamp. There are a few lakes and rivers, but it is by no means a swamp. It's a moderately rainy jungle. If you are meaning the green fog color, I'm not sure that's final :-P
