G15 Key wear

Some of you have listened to my rant about how my G15 keys are wearing already after owning it for a short time. I put nail polish on them to preserve their disgusting look. So check this thread out that I found on the internet.

apparantly logitech fixed this issue so now it looks like im getting a G15...and puppet they'll replace it right?

i have a saitek
not as pimp as the g15
but it has the backlit keys and that's all i need really
i don't need all of that extra pimpage.

So, good news from Logitech. I called them finally after much laziness and they are sending me a brand new G15 keyboard and they told me to keep the other one for a spare. Apparently the vendor that makes the keys for them made a bunch of them using the wrong chemical composition. The Product ID on the bottom of your keyboard (listed as PID) is what they use to determine if they will send you replacement. In case you want to compare your G15 to see if it has the same defect, my PID is BT537DG

it has been my 3rd party experience that logitech does a very good job honoring their warranties
