hmm i logged a ticket and they said it was probably a antivirus or firewall blocking but i checked the settings and nothing is blocking it.

Yea, when in doubt, I always delete and re-install combat arms. Everytime it fixed the problem for me, and if it doesnt work for you, it would be a software problem on your computer such as a security system blocking it or something of that nature.
