wow thats crazy shit. we had (it was my friends/roomate) a burmese
python and she got to like 8.5 feet and dude was like "thats it, you gotta
go" and gave her to the zoo in valdosta, ga.
funny story is, that the very first day we moved in, he sat on the top of
the cage and broke it. he "fixed" it by duck taping a towel across the top
with a little tab in the corner to lift back for feeding/watering and cleaning
the cage. needless to say, it didnt take long for a snake that wants to get
out to find a way to do so. even funnier, we got so used to finding the
snake in the laundry room, bath tub, under the sink, in the closet, etc...
we just gave up on putting it back in the cage. i would really freak people
out who were there for the first time staring at the empty cage or finding
an 8 ft. python staring them down while looking for gravity bong parts
under the sink.
she finally got real territorial and thats when he decided it was time for
pros to take care of her.
