USB flash drive..

hey i was wondering if you can put things (Photo's, games,music ) onto your wii using a flash drive....

i believe there are some devices that work, which devices is unknown, but somebody found out a usb wifi adapter would work when plugged into the wii... dunno if its just a rumor though

people have been known to use their keyboard on the wii, also i charge my phone via USB on the wii... and the game boogie is going to feature a USB microphone

i dont think transferring files off a usb will work and wouldnt recommend trying it just in case. thou like said in a previous thread if wii made a hardrive
for the wii it might be possible to listen to music without an sd card

You can not transfer data like said items through a flash drive. I don't even think the Wii picks it up...either that...or it crashes your Wii :0

An SD card so far is the only way to get that kind of data on the Wii. Maybe there will be an update later on that will let us transfer data via flash drive, it's always possible!

this was with the last update, it allows use of usb keyboards in the shop channel and when sending messages via the message board. I would recommend getting a wireless keyboard so you can keep with the general wireless theme
