But when playing Super mario on NES I always got alarmed when the time started to run out and the music went faster.

It's the lavender town theme from Pokemon red/blue/yellow. It's said to cause depression on the people who listen to it..

Didn't cause me any depression or gave me thoughts of suicide.

Sounds like a normal song to me.

The drowning music from the sonic series gave me panic attacks. I feel short of breath all of the sudden.
