(DUH)The WiiMote tries to find the leds and assumes that's the center of the TV and measures the distance and height from that and sends the data to the Wii, that's why you can put the sensor bar upside down and it still works fine. And YES candles will work, remove the sensor bar, place a few candles ontop of the TV and you're good to go.</blockquote>
