For those unfamiliar, remember the 1/6 scale Master Sword and Hylian Shield collectibles from Target last Christmas? Those were made by Master Replicas, who are now a division of Corgi.</p><p></p><p>And now, we have for you today the first six of twenty-four Mario-themed figures that are scheduled to be available in December at mass retailer and specialty stores, with the latter getting special limited edition numbered twin pack tin sets. Meanwhile, the mass retailers will get blister carded (those cardboard packages with plastic bubbles that hang on pegs) individual figures, for about £2.99/$4.00 each.</p><p></p><p>And once these are gone... they're gone, as the run will be retired to make room for the next wave, and thus making these true collectibles.</p><p></p><p>The 24 figures will be made in scale to one-another, with the smalles, Bob-Omb, measuring in at a mere two centimeters, and the largest, presently unnamed figure standing tall at a whopping 15 centimeters (Bowser? Petey Piranha?)!</p><p></p><p>Special Projects Manager Dan Willett has gone on to say that if you can think of a character, they are being produced, and all to scale with one another... except for Chain Chomp, for as-yet unexplained reasons.
