I don't think a hard case is the best solution for protecting your wiimote. If you whack one of these, the case will probably split, whereas a soft case would be more likely to simply absorb the impact.

It's always good to have options though, I just hope they make some more attractive ones.

I prefer the soft case to the feel of the remotes. One thing though, if you have the recharching stations, will the hard cases allow you to use the chargers or will you have to remove them each time?

I'd guess they wouldn't fit Ben. Docking stations are usually made to fit pretty snug and those cases don't exactly look like they'll be flush with the controllers.

I have a hard case on my iPod for example and it's super thin, but you still can't fit it into the dock.

Ah finally! A new skin for the Remote that is easy to put on!
I would get that easy because the current skins I'm using require about 5 minutes just to take off, replace the battery, then put back on. I love the simplicity of just having to take the pieces off, but I would like it to come in different colors...

I think if you just put on the new strap, that should be enough to keep it from braking. Everything else is your fault :)

i use a silicone skin... it just feels better on the hands... i don't care for the hard plastic... it'd only crack

i use a silcone skin as well and your right hard plastic cases have a chance of cracking......
