need SD card help

can anyone help me? i got a 4gb card for my bday and i have no idea how to format it, it does not show up in my computer, i remember a similar problem with my harddrive i fixed but forgot how to do it

If it does not show at all you got definately a problem!!

In what order give you advice??

Try what I would do...

Have you checked if your card reader is working properly with another memory card other than a SD card?

if works problem is elsewere..So

If does not work try to see if you have the right drives for your card reader!!

If is working and every thing is fine try another SD card you know is fine..

if works problem is elsewere..So

If does not work..

the only things left to check are: your 4 Gb SD card and your card
reader

Mind you I know there are cheap SD cards being sold on ebay wich are fake..either in the amount of real amount of storage space or they just do'nt work.

If every thing is fine to format a memory card you need to just right click on it and you get the option of formating on the appearing menu..:big_boss:

Card Reader works and i got a real sd card not a fake 1 from ebay

not tried new drivers though

Nice to know of having being of some help at least there was a thing you did not check..

But if continues no to recognise your memory card try to see if works on another PC if you can...

If does not work try to get a refund for it!!:big_boss:
