Decided to pull this discussion away from my re-intro thread. I'm gonna be updating this thread as my build progresses and feel free to discuss anything computer related along the way.

Stuff I've Already Done:
-Installed 120mm fan on the bottom pulling into the case.

I'm either turning the case into a Pink Floyd light show tribute or a Coheed and Cambria themed case. Either way the case is getting two more 120mm fans, one 140mm and some fancy cutting with my dremel

Questions, Comments, and Criticism is very welcome :D

Here's a picture of my plans for fans. Just imagine an H50 and OCZ 700w [Bottom mount fan] there instead of the Fatal1ty and Logisys. It's not exact, but that should be the airflow.. completely forgot to add in where the radiator will be for the H50 lol

now that I think about it, the 140mm on top needs to be a 120 instead so I can mount the H50's radiator in a push-pull setup on the top of the case.

The orange outlined area is to get cut.

I hate MicroBoards for one reason - They're too damn small. If I ever wanted a 2nd PCI card for something, i wouldn't be able to fit it in because of the massive heat sink on the 4350.

I wanna get a Thermaltake V9 and a 500-600W PSU when my old one runs out of steam. So many massive fans I'll never nee to buy again :D

I'm not a fan of mATX either, not enough space to work on anything. I love full ATX cases, so much space and everything is so spread apart so none of the heat from one thing affects another. I want to mod a full ATX case after this one :D

My order for my memory just got processed and I found out's getting shipped from New Jersey, which means I should get it sooner than the 4-7 days :D

My PSU will be here tomorrow, it would be seriously epic if I got my memory tomorrow too.

^ gonna download blackbox 2.0, I like the layout...

I run about 38c at idle too, but when I'm OCd to 4.01, I run about 44c

What kinda CPU do you have? 44c isn't bad, Intels can handle up to 68c I believe and AMD's like 76 lol don't quote me on that, I'm not positive.

I can't wait to see mid-high 20's when I get my H50, high 30's low 40's under load

I would suggest going with a bit more memory though. I have a bit over a terabite right now and I'm not anywhere close to filling it, but its never bad to have more. But also it depends on what you do with your PC, I save all of my games to the HDD so that I never need to install them and what not, which takes up alot of space. Like one game fsx is like 9 disks which is like 45gbs plus all the add-ons and updates. I just had to restore my computer back to factory settings so I'm close to 100gbs filled at the moment but before it was much farther with only some of my games saved on. A terabite would be fine for normal gaming but if you save the games to your HDD it could use more. I would suggest saving to the HDD only cuz it eliminates the need for disk changes and faster loading times.

You mean bigger hard drive lol memory is those sticks that you insert into the motherboard. I will have nearly a terabyte of HDD space, two 500GB HDD's = 1000GB. Those WD blacks are snappy HDD's and with RAID, I think I will be more than content with my HDD space :) I'm gonna keep my 80GB around too for a media drive.

I barely filled up 2x160GB HDD's on my old computer, I don't think I will fill 1080GB up :D
