IGN and alter Egos

Well i was surfing around the net and was wondering how some people got there IGN(in game names)/forum names and what not and thought i may as well ask.

As for mine i got a really cool model car when i was about 7 years old and it was of a 1996 dodge viper. i love this car and its the coolest one ive ever seen. anyways my friend and i started making metroid sprite comics and wanted to have our own characters in it. We had been following another metroid comic for awhile now and my friend chose the name of Kabutak because the creater of the other comic was named Kabutroid. Well i though about following what kabutroid did and created a character called Vipertroid. This then changed as i branched off from metroid and it became Viperstrike. I still use this but i still prefer viper as thats what everyone calls me. I have some other not so well know ones but i dont use them alot cause they can get me pk on mmorpgs.

anyways this is how my name originated how did your guy's(and girl's) start? soory for any spelling errors and such.

Bear with me.

Fladian originally comes from a piece of my mind and from a random game. In a game I used to play, your character's name was changed at a certain moment in the game. It was related to the story line and I was curious what would happen if I used that name from the start. Do remember that I haven't played that game for six months at that time and I am pretty bad with names. I thought the name was 'Fladian.' In the end, I was quite off. It was something like Valamir, or something like that.

Lince came from a completely different place. I just saw it somewhere and I liked how it sounds. Fladian Lince. Since then I am being called Fladian Lince.

Random is a name I've 'stolen' from by brother. He used the name at places where he wasn't going to stay long, but that later changed to a different particular nickname, which I don't know. Nowadays, it's 'Gentleman.' Since then I picked the name Random from him and it became one of my general nicknames. Together with Fladian, Random is one of my most common nicknames. It might even have been more used than Fladian. However, Fladian is a far more recent nickname and one I am intending to keep forever.

Ed or Eddy is a name people call me in real life. I do not appreciated being called by that name online. How I got this name? Well, that's private. =P

well my real name is christopher but everyone calls me Chris. this isnt my prefered name i prefer Viper instead of chris but i had no choice in that so im fine with it.

Well, I don't really have a nick-name in real life, apart from people shortening my name, but as for my online name, Jupackazoin, I got it from Starcraft, The Avatar of the protoss, I think it's called avatar, the little space ship that can transport things and cloak things, anyway, sometimes when you move it he says something like Jupackazoin. So I stole it

Fudgie... I'm not sure if I went with my appetite or something.

Honestly, its from football. Some, pretty darn big, guy on the team got the nickname Fudgie from the lineman coach. (The coach thought up really weird nicknames) I got WC3 a few weeks later and adopted the name as my own out of liking.

 

[Undead_Lives]

Hehe, well I guess I can tell my story.
I was trying to think up of a good bnet name, as my previous one was well...crap. Anyways, I liked the undead race, so I imputed undead first. Then an underscore. Finally, the first word that came to my mind was "lives" so I became undead_lives on bnet, which is still my username today.
Afterward I decided to use it as my forum username as well, because it was quite original. I only added capitals.

And that's my story.

hmm i first played warcraft 2 when i was 7? and i was a freak about dbz then so i wanted to be named trunks but by some freak typo accident came up with chunks, and i kept that username for some time then when i got warcraft 3 i tried to make chunks and it was taken so i was trying to decide on a new name when i was watching ed edd and eddy and ed said squashy so i was like hmm im kinda squishy, so i tried making The-Squishy-One which was too long or something so i decided on squishy-1 (commonly said squishy heiphan one) and i made a few maps and got a icon every now and then i would make a different account but always came back to squishy-1 but thats only for battle net on other games i go by Zion, TreeBranch, amung others so now you know the origin of my name

I just stole my name from a band I liked alot back when I started playing Warcraft again and needed a battlenet nickname.
