I seem to have a button problem in Zelda:TP

After months of not playing Zelda:twilight Princess(cause I've been busy with school work and completing Tomb Raider)I started to go back to playing it but then all of the sudden when I load the file up, the minus,plus and home buttons were not working for some strange reason.if thats not bad enough,the pointer used to swing the sword is also not working.
has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to fix this cause I really want to play it.
the buttons work fine on everthing else but dont work on twilight princess.

Have you tried it in different save files on the game? It could be a corrupted save file perhaps. No clue.

If it's just the game then perhaps you can try cleaning the disc to see if that helps as all.

I've tried that and nothing will work and the disc looks absolutely clean with no scratches on it.
the weirdest part is that Zelda:TP is the only game thats affected.

if u contact nintendo u always get an answer, or a new zelda TP.
