Hi, this list was originally posted on combatarmsforums.tk by me, so i though i post it here too.
Combat arms is a good game, but many other mmofpss exist...
Here is a short list including some in beta stages.

Graphics look great, however the game has been on and off development for about 2-3 years.
Looks promising Beta key are easy to get, it you know where to go...

Crossfire

It is open and Free to play.
Weapons are kept when you but them, however they are pretty expensive and you have to repair them. I found that if I won a game and have 200 gp, I would spend like 125 to repair my gun.
I liked the Ace, MVP, last kill thing, which if you are/get the Ace/last kill you get more EXP.
I’ve played this one, there’s a good selection of maps and the game play is pretty fun.
And in my experience…hack free.
However the graphics make my eyes hurt, not a pretty game compared to CA
But that’s a good thing for low-end systems.

Operation 7

This is also open and free to play.
Weapons are kept when you buy them, the only thing that expires (save stuff like helmets and such which don’t give any benefits) are bullets which are very cheap. And annoying thing is you have to repair your weapon (same like crossfire) which cuts into your winnings (or losings ) at the end of a round
There is a weapon mods system that is amazing, change barrels, stocks, put grenade launchers on. All around very cool.
Graphics are nice, some say better than CA.
I found it very hard, either there are a lot of good players playing or I suck. Take your pick.
There is a good amout of maps, however in my limited play it didn’t seem like there was a lot of people playing.
Again fairly hack free.(EDIT 9 April 09, the game is no longer hacker free, the hackers are worse than CA, cause their invisible.)

Battlefield Heroes

Cartoon shooter (a la TF2) fun stereotypical characters.
Its classic capture the control point battlefield in a mascot suit.
As a beta tester, all I can say is it is a blast.
Headshots are damn hard to get tho.
