Game wont start

Alright I finally fixed the error 203 thing and when I push start and it loads hackshield nothing happens but when i try clicking on the launcher it says the game is already running, but i dont see the game anywhere on my screen, tabs or task manager and i have to end up restarting my computer.

i have restarted my computer and re-installed the game, but it wont go into the game

Computer specs:Hp AMD athlon(tm) 64 x2 dual core processor 3800+ 2.00 ghz, 960 MB of RAM (sorry if thats not the specs, not sure how to check them)

my computer can run the game with minimum to no lag and i used to play the game a few months ago with no problems so can anyone help me?

Right click combat arms shortcut, properties, and run in compatability mode - Windows 2000 .

Try that .

how do i do that i right clicked it and i don't see a run in compatibility mode

Right Click the CA icon -> Click Properties -> Click Compatability Tab

Click the checkbox that says "Run this program in compatability mode for:" and choose Windows 2000 from the drop down.

May be different on Vista.. not sure

Start Menu - All programs - Accessories - System tools - System Information .
