Error: Cannot connect to the server

So, I just downloaded the game last night, and played beautifully for a couple of hours. I come back today (around 6:30 pm PST), click to log in, and then get a black screen for about 20 seconds and I get this error message saying I cannot connect to the server. It has nothing to do with lag, or with my computer specs, seeing as how I was just playing yesterday.

Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks!

What about your internet connection?
Obviously cannot connect without being connected to the internet.
It's a possibility.

Usually works after restarting your computer.
