I'm going to see it at midnight. I've been a fan since I was a kid. I'm not exactly what one would call a geek though

Just got back from the theater, and i loved every minute.

Alot of the acting was cheesy, and i hate that christensen kid, and it felt a little rushed towards the middle, but I loved how they dropped the subtle similar hints at costumes and ships and charachters from the older (but later) movies, and that ive played the games and read the books sealed the deal for me.

But yes i loved this 3rd and final??? addition.

ive been a star wars fan for a long time, i think i was, and very thankfully, caught at just the right time to catch the story for what it is worth in my life to be hooked, unlike the generations of now, kids these days dont get into it like i do, maybe im a diff breed. alot of this i think i have thanks to my dad, he got me hooked on it since i was little cause he loved the movies too, were space/future/fantasy buffs. the thing i love about these movies though it the time my dad and i share when we go. we dont always see eye to eye on alot of things, but when anticipate the new star wars movies its liek a blessing for just us, we go out, eat dinner and go see the flick and jsut bs about it for an hour and get all psyched.

no we didnt go in costume, no we are not geeks, we're just die hard fans.
the only sad thing is that i feel its coming to a close, they say no more movies and im still praying theyll do more, it is such an excellent franchise, star trek is good too but its nothing in comparison.
and alot of me hopes theyll do more cause theres alot me and my dad dont always share or talk about, but this is one of the few but many times that are a trademark on my life and I dont ever want to forget them.

aye, I guess george gave up on the 9 movie plan(middle 3, 1st 3, *final 3), or he wants to "spring" it on us in another 12 years like he did last time. that would be a cool retirement project for him to do for us fans I think. I have a dozen or more of the books writen in the last 5 years (much better than the crap that came out after the 1st series of flicks) and its easy to get sucked into the books if you like the flicks.
