change the background on the wii main menu

I want to change the background on the main menu (the screen which shows you all the channels you can go into), from the white to a picture i have on my SD card. Is this possible and if it is, how do I go about it?

Does it really matter? I'd rather get down to some (non-existent) Wii gaming than stare at some soppy background I put up.

i'm sure we all would want that, but until then we could get an update to make our own background..
