Wii points price increase?

noticed today that wii points in asda had gone up to £17 for 2000 and now they are selling 1000 point cards for £9.

whats going on? have they increased in price or are asda just trying to make more money?

They haven't increased in price, well, at least not in america. I just went to GameStop yesterday and they were still $20

I find Wii games out of my price range when i can,by my own opinion and standards,get a vastly superior experience on the PS3 (or 360).Ifwe ever see the day where Wii games retail at more than the price of their competitors then i am well and truely out aside from realy important releases like Zelda/Mario.
