Here is a tutorial on how to make scales...
this was made in psp8 the actual picture took around 5-10mins
this art could be useful for further creature creatures, textures or upgrade icons.

no, not really.
i have a better tutorial, sam..
1. grab a sheet ( or open a new blank file )
2. hold your pen over the sheet ( or your tablet on the pad or the mouse on any surface )
3. begin to do wrist and arm movements until something appears on the sheet or screen.
4. repeat steps 1-3 for 30 years

Uhhh... fine tutorial, I guess. But do people really need a tutorial about drawing? I mean, every has their own style of drawing. I mean as example, I can't even hold a pen right (never learnt how =))

i think thats more technical, design, learning the color combinations, and all.
but fine, ill make a tutorial about how to draw a circle if i have time

well i did once get IP banned from warcraft i think its cause i tried to make an aka called clan_f*ck_you if it wasnt for that well then i dunno why, blizzard just hate me ^^
