KK, I started this thread so that people could check from the list to see all the handy controls mentioned incase they forgot them. I will edit the list whenever someone adds a coment and the list will contain all of controls mentioned in thread.

Ok, here is the list so far:

/ turns selected unit anti clockwise
*turns seleced unit clockwise
cntrl+rightclick(hold) then move around - easy placing of cameras
1 click of mouse rill - world editor camera set to default
cntrl+pgup/pgdn raises/lowers selected doodad
home, end - changes lenght size of doodad (if posible)
pgup/pgdn - changes hight size of doodad (if possible)
rolling mouse rill - zooms in/out
rightclick(hold) moves screen
Enter - to change selected thing's properties

And some other hints:
1) For profesional teraining use raise and lower as much as posible and cliffs (unless cityscape) as least as posible.

2) start entire map as shallow water anduse raise lower from there

3) Desert islands are the easiest sort of terain to use the above hint for.

4) when making a campaign, make the trees biger, they are curently too small to look real. ( also scale up ship size)

5) when there is an imba unit in a map, that a player controls, and makes game eincredibly unbalanced, these maps become unpopular because of the inbalance. imba heros (such as putting 1000 attack dmg) are really unpopular.

6) when you make a map, dont cut corners, make it the way you want it to be and look, even if that does require that you need someone's help.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When someone else adds hints, tips, tricks, ect ; it will go onto the main list above (and then maybe Arkidas will make a special section for it if it gets really big :D )

if you want add "-" value, hold shift, then double click on value that you want to change and just press "V"

when u got unit selected, press control and change unit position by holding it, and moving with left mouse button(or right?)

Well... Noise is bad, because is innatural, looks like earthquake.

5) when there is an imba unit in a map, that a player controls, and makes game eincredibly unbalanced, these maps become unpopular because of the inbalance. imba heros (such as putting 1000 attack dmg) are really unpopular.[/b]
I always wonder why people keep adding 6666666 dmg heroes

people sometimes make imbalanced units because either 1. they have to make it so everytime they host they can win 2. they dont understand its imbalanced
