I know that there are video game addiction treatment centers but I didn't know there were WoW specific ones.

Fortunately that was fake. Several months ago I watched all of that kid's videos and was shocked and then I found some videos where he and the rest of the family revealed that it was all staged. I wouldn't be surprised if there were really some cases like that though, from what I've heard WoW is really addicting.
