New PS3 Slim

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed by the new PS3 and it's features.

Smaller and more energy efficient? Ok. But still no PS2 compatibility?! I have plenty of old PS2 games here and I will not buy any console from Sony if they don't get this right.
Remember: the first version was PS2 compatibel! Why did they remove it?

How do you think about it?

They removed the PS2 backward compatability simply to cut the cost of the system. it is cheeper now simply because they had removed that from teh system.

The cost for compatibilty was very small. And today the cost to produce a PS3 is at an all time low....

Yeah i would be annoyed to buy a PS3 with no PS2 compatibility!

I have a working PS2, so it works out for me. I'm planning to get one soon. It's just perfect for me.

I wasn't a fan of PS3 to begin with, so its just whatever to me. I don't regret purchasing a 360 whatsoever.

It's very smexy, sure.

I don't mind about the compatibility as I have both.

It's all hooked up to the same TV. Anyway, I'm on the fence. Would be nice to have it "All in one" .
