My mic no worky

I just bought a sweet new headset with mic so I could swear at you guys and last night it didn't seem to be working.
I checked my settings in my computer and everything was cool, the volume was up and it wasnt muted.
So then I went to options in game and turned voice on, voice transmit up etc. I hit the test mic button and it seemed to work good, but then back in game no one could hear me.

So is there anything else I could check? :?:

It almost sounds like settings are bringing it back to low when they execute. Do you have a userconfig.cfg ?

I did, but then I reformatted my hardrive and had to reinstall CZ. Refresh my memory on where it goes and what goes in it?

How's about you paste the contents of that file right here in a post and I will see if it is causing the prob?

I dont even have one puppet. It should be a notepad file right?
It may be working though, machi was just on Lo3 and said he could hear me.

That's fine, it just means you never created one. Try this if you want. Go to console and enter each one of these (just the name). You should be able to see what the current value is and compare it to mine:
