Internal memory

    What is the memory inside the wii is it flash or a HDD?
    and how big is it?

    I will correct this later if need be.

    I think its two gigs of flash but I could be wrong.

    If you are talking about the storage you can use (to save gamesaves/wiiware ect) than it's 512 MB built-in NAND flash memory

    Yea, especially compared to PS3 and 360 which give you 20-160GB hard drive space.
    This is why the wii needs external hard drive support. 512MB is too small. Homebrew developers can use it for their applications and games so it is possible to use, but Nintendo just doesn't want to make it official.
